Drop Shot Success and Full Coolers on a Perfect Lake Fork Day

Mark & lauren put that sneaky drop shot to work today on beautiful Lake Fork. The fishing & the weather today was top notch! Cloud cover, cool breeze, and tight lines made for a beautiful day on the water! 
These fish are very healthy & fat. We found schools of fish starting in the morning in 5ft - 8ft of water on pond damns and worked our way out to some 15ft flats & brush piles.
Then we ended the day with solid amount of crappie to finish the day off and head home!

What a fantastic day out on the water with Kris at the Oak Ridge Marina in Quitman, Texas! April is a prime time for bass fishing in this part of the state, as the warming waters have the Largemouth Black Bass feeding aggressively. We knew we were in for an action-packed trip when we headed out under the partly cloudy skies.

As soon as we hit the water, Kris was dialed in, working the banks and transition areas with his baitcasting setup. It wasn't long before he had a solid hook-up, and after a spirited fight, he landed a beautiful Largemouth Black Bass. The bite stayed steady throughout the day, with Kris connecting on several more nice fish. We tried a variety of techniques, from flipping shallow cover to working topwater lures, and the bass were eager to smash our offerings.

Between the steady action and beautiful scenery, the time just flew by. Kris was a natural on the water, casting with precision and working each spot methodically. It was great to see him getting dialed in and learning new techniques to improve his game. Even when we didn't have a rod bent, we were still taking in the peaceful surroundings and enjoying the gorgeous day.

Windy Waters, Big Bites – Kicking Off Day 1 on Lake Fork!

Arron & miles came out for a crappie/bass bundle. 
Started the morning catching some crappie on slip corks filling the cooler, as the sun got up and the water started to warm. It was time to hunt some bass. 
Went to the next cove over and never left. Catching bass started quickly. Good solid day catching bedfish and good size males and females roaming off the bank in the grass.

Lake Fork Giant: Big Bass Under 5lbs? You Be the Judge!

Had back to back trips today! After running around this morning in a panic after first spot was a bust and couldnt handle the wind in the 2nd area or get on the fish. 
I finally abandon all that and went and fished something i felt comfortable with and knew me and my clients would enjoy and be protected from the wind. 
Found the crappie in one spawning cove sitting around the grass line and towards the middle of the pocket in 2 to 3ft of water. 
Watching slip corks sink under the surface in any direction we threw them was a blast!

James and 7yr old logan came out to enjoy a beautiful day on lake fork. We got out there around 11am and immediately got on some bedding bass. Logan broke his PB twice and james got some have some fun hooking into some male spawners all day.

Took Mark &amp; his son austin out on sandlin sunday for some crappie. We stayed out of those gusty 30mph winds and they slayed some giant crappie. September Crappie Fishing '22

We came out and tried crappie fishing out for their very first time. Never even touched a rod before and they killed it for the first time. We spent the afternoon on bob sandlin to get away from the tourney traffic on fork. They caught close to 40 to 50 crappie and bagged 25 keepers. Taylor caught the biggest crappie at 16inches, 2lbs. It was a blast. 

We used Favorite Fishing Rods 9ft brush dobbers rods.

May Fishing Tournament 

Sharing this one from May up here now that we have our website live! We spent a day fishing for Largemouth Bass.All our fish were over 5lbs and jackson broke his PB with a 6.10lb bass. We switched it up and laid into some Crappie for the rest of the afternoon, spectated a few pros from a distance. 


Had an awesome day casting at Largemouth Bass on Lake Fork. We caught our fish on a 15ft berkley dredger.
